temple dedication

today was the oquirrh mountain temple dedication. it was very nice to be a part of it. i really felt the spirit and enjoyed all the talks they gave. president monson gave the dedicatory prayer. elder uctdorf and elder bednar talked as well as the general primary president and two men 0f the quorum of the seventies.

old fashioned picnic/ fireworks!!!

saturday south jordan had its 150th celebration! they had an old fashioned picnic with lemonade, rootbeer, pie, icecream, cotton candy and popcorn. there were games for us to play with a live jazz band playing music. jeremy and i were in a pie eating contest. i don't think i can eat pie the same way ever again. :) you also parked in a parking lot away from the park and took a horse carriage in to the park. after we had done everything we could we packed up and left to south jordan city park to finish the night with fireworks. south jordan always does a great firework show!

st. augustine vacation

we went to st. augustine and stayed at a golf resort. it was really fun. we drove around the town in a smart car! we ate at scarlett o'hara's and shopped at the outlets. we also went on a ghost tour at night time around all the historic areas including the hospital and jail. mommy was certainly frightened! on our last day we spent it at the beach and it was a perfect day.
